Technical writing is any written communication that people do in the course of their work.
In other words, any writing for any purpose that is done in the fields of science, technology, business, and the professions is technical writing.
E-mail, letters, reports, abstracts, instructions, manuals, incident reports, bills, advertising,
promotional material, and so on, can all be considered technical writing.
